Prayers needed for my Patch

You and Patch will be in my prayers. Hang in there, animals have remarkable strength sometimes and when one is loved as much as he is, they can live for that love. One of my babies had everything in the world wrong with him, but he lived about three years longer than they thought he would and with a good quality of life, not sick and miserable. My vet told me he thought he did so well because I loved him so much. So, don't lose hope.

Thanks for the update on Patch, I'm so glad you were able to visit him. Ask if you can bring in a t shirt you've slept in, so he can have your smell with him. Not something you expect to get back.

The Vet Patch has is terrific I'm very satisfied with the medical treatment he has been given, another thing she does is call me a lot on updates which helps make it a little more bearable. Even if theres no change she lets me know. Thanks also for the Prayers and well wishes.

I'm praying for your Patch!! I know how you are feeling. My Baby isn't feeling as well either.
Still sending up prayers for your Patch. He is such a good boy to still give kisses through all this.

Thank you so much for that, Well it seems they took the catheter off and he started to strain a little. The kidney values came down which is good, but they found that around the PU opening he seems to have a fold of fur and skin that covers the opening a little, they said they may need to open that up a little or cut the overlap a little, which means some surgery is required. My poor little boy can't get a break it seems. He looks so tired.Originally Posted by otto

Update on my Patchie, they will do the surgery tomorrow. The only thing that is the concern is the anesthisia and surgery where his heart is concerned. But it has to be done. There is no other alternative.
