What breed would you guess that this cat is? Or is she any breed at all? I'd like some input from "pros".

Thanks.

Technically speaking, without any papers that cat is a domestic longhair

Without papers, you have a lovely domestic long-hair on your hands. I'm not sure about color since the lighting or camera flash could have made a difference, but, it looks to be a red or dilute red/cream bi-color.

I will, however, say that your cat looks remarkably like my 1.5 year old DLH, Finnegan.

See? I think they're quite similar in body type and fur type...
Beautiful kitty...

She is a beautiful domestic longhair with van markings.

Definitely has Van markings. But yeah, without papers you have a DLH cat, which is just fine!

Classic Turkish Van markings, but, as the others have said, without papers he's "just" a domestic longhair. I must say, however, that he's beautiful and looks to have a lot of character.

I realize that without papers she's not going to be considered a purebred cat but I think she looks a lot like a Turkish Angora so I think it's quite possible that she has some of that in her. Who knows. Either way she is beautiful, with the prettiest eyes, but unfortunately she is very shy and scared of people except for the rare occasion you catch her in the right mood. She loves to be petted then.

She's a foster and not very adoptable because of her shyness but I'm hoping that somewhere out there is a true cat lover that would be willing to give a forever home to a pretty girl despite her issues. Anyone know someone that may be willing to take a chance on her? She has a lot of potential in the right home (with no feisty dogs)

I'm not in a place to take in another cat. I wish! Where are you/is she located?

Her coat looks different than Turkish Angora's, they have a single coat and this kitty seems to have a double. Her facial features are more like Turkish Vans, but again the coat texture looks wrong (as Vans also have a single coat). Angoras and Vans have that oriental body built (angoras more noticeable), hard to tell from the pic if she's like that. But she is pretty.

She's sure a beautiful cat! That helps her adoption potential.

I'm not in the position to take in another cat either. But I do have two very shy cats living with me. And one of them is both shy and crabby, too. So people do take in these cats. Her day will come.
