Ok so I have a pregnant cat that is due any day we believe (dont worry she is being spayed as soon as kitten's are weaned) she was my grandmother's cat and we got her in January but she's been in my family for almost 5 year's. Anyway my hubby call's me today from work and asks me if I thought we could take in an 8 month old kitten that one of his co-worker's found dumped about a week and a half ago at her appartment complex. She is'nt allowed animal's but she took the kitten in anyway to get it fed and sheltered from the cold and rainy weather we have been having. She has since taken it and gotten it spayed and had her shot's given and the vet gave her a clean bill of health. She cant keep the kitten but she wanted to get it spayed and make sure she was healthy before she found her a furrever home. I would LOVE to take the kitten in and be able to show her that not all people are mean and will abandon her. So my question is this...How should I introduce my Mary to the new kitten? I dont have any experience in doing this kinda thing and want to do it right so that my pregnant kitty and recently spayed kitty dont get hurt. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.
