I forgot about them (another mixed gender group), but I don't think they're known for playing a wide range of instruments.Originally Posted by DarkMavis
Black Eyed Peas? They are mixed gender... though i'm not a fan and don't pay attention to the Grammys so I have no idea if they got any but they probably did cos they're pretty popular. So that's my guess. (and i'm still too lazy to go internet searching, so i'm purely guessing, not cheating.)
Oops, I didn't pay attention to the range of instruments part.Originally Posted by motoko9

Another band that crossed my mind was Belle and Sebastian (you should check them out, Persi & Alley), but I'm pretty sure they've never won a Grammy, although many would argue that they deserve one.

Arcade Fire? (I was a big fan of their first album.)
You are right - I did think that! I remember reading a review somewhere (maybe on Pitchfork?) and buying the CD soon afterward. I had never heard of them before then. I would not describe myself as a devotee, but I do love *Funeral,* and we also have the album they released after that. Maybe I should check out their latest!Originally Posted by Persi & Alley
BTW, I have a feeling that you may think Funeral was their first album but it was not.
