My first trick on me this morning was one of those prank phone call recordings, and the second one was my coffee. It's in one of those thermal mugs, so l asked my friends son Neil to fetch my coffee from my office as l was doing some work on his Mums screen, but he crept into the kitchen and filled another mug like mine with iced water

I'll be pleased when 2.p.m comes so l can get home

Does Old Man Winter count? We're at 2 inches of the white stuff (and it's still coming down). I am not amused.

Years ago, right about a month after I bought a new car, my phone rang. It was my dad, who asked me what happened to my car. It seems that he had been in town, saw my car in the parking lot and it looked like somebody had hit me. I hung up on him, ran outside and down the steps to my car...and it was fine. Then I realized that it was April 1st. I called my dad back and he was laughing like crazy. He had gotten me. Again.

I don't anticipate any pranks being played on me (are you listening, honey?) and I won't be playing any. I think I outgrew that eons ago.

Today is the 54th anniversary of my best prank. Mom started having labor pains. She and Dad headed to the hospital. Waiting for my arrival, Mom requested something for her stomach. As she swallowed a bite of gelatin, the pains stopped.

At 5 minutes.

The ones by Blizzard are always funny, for you WoW players. Love the new instance!

My students come up with various and sundry things... one walked in with her arm in a sling and I forgot it was April Fool's day. She got me! The problem with THAT is that I didn't believe her later when she came in with the same sling a couple months after that... poor thing had broken her collarbone. Guess that'll teach her not to play pranks involving broken bones!

I did something like that to my parents. April 1st, they drove up to the hospital, and I decided I didn't want to be born. Instead I waited a couple of days for a blizzard to hit, before I decided to arrive

My aunt (father's sister) was born on April 1st.

My mil text me this mornin to tell me my sister in law was pregnant, I was mortified and really believed her. I worked it out after a couple more texts lol, then she decided it would be funny to text my dh and tell him I was pregnant, he wasn't very impresse x
