Happened about 3 weeks ago now. 5 years to the day I last worked for my old boss. Delivering food for Palumbo Pizza. Somethings have not changed, the guy in charge of the kitchen is still there, my boss still has his Mercedes, but has gone gray. His sons are now 16 and 14 the last time I saw them they were 9 and 11, the oldest is working the counter on Friday nights. The other drivers are still there from when I was last there, but sadly, I did find out that my boss's wife is dying and has 2 months or less... I was shocked to hear that, and you can tell he is stressed out because of all of it.
Still, it kinda felt like coming home.
