puffy eye

Ugh its 8pm and I just noticed Google has a slightly swollen eye. I only noticed because he kept rubbing it. I have gotten to look closely and it looks watery (but he's been rubbing it) and a bit swollen. Not bad though. And he can open it all the way but he is holding it about halfway open. I dont know if maybe he just got something in it and needed it out, or if he's gotten bit by something.
Will I be okay to just keep an eye on him until tomorrow and see how it goes? The emergency vet will charge out the wazoo...

*note* since I started typing this I have been watching him and he doesnt seem to be rubbing it anymore? Ugh I dont know what to do!

could he have gotten into anything that could cause a slight allergic reaction? or have something caught in his eye

I say your other post in the CL that its better now than it was....maybe keep an eye on him then phone the vet in the morning or even ring your emergancy vet they might be able to suest over the phone if they think it warrents going straight in or to speak to your vet in the morning

He was under the couch today chasing a hair bow... so it is very very possible he got into a fight with a giant dust bunny....
Nothing he could have gotten into with an allergic reaction.

I just captured him and looked at it closer and it seems completely fine now...
