Well, we are still waiting for Dr. Legendre to return to his office so we can fax him the application to get Abby into the PI trial. But I think our time is running out. She can no longer see out of her right eye and her left eye is almost blind, too. She can see large shapes, we think, but she bumps into each stair when she is going up them, she is scared of everything, and she takes small, hesitant steps when looking for her food bowl. I am torn right now. I don't want her to suffer. She screams, tries to bite my chest (ouch!) and really fights when I try to give her the drops for her glaucoma. She HAS to have them. She used to just meow really low and I didn't even have to wrap her in a towel.
Will her eyesight come back in the left eye if we get the FIP under control? I just don't know. Good vibes our way would be welcomed!
