If you're considering trying it, my advice would be to check with a holistic vet first. Hopefully you can find one within driving distance.

I'm wondering about something. Have you tried subcutaneous fluids to make your kitty feel better and help with appetite? In my experience, in these situations sub-q fluids can be more effective than an appetite stimulant. I would encourage you to have your vet try fluids a couple of times and if you find they do make a difference you can continue with the treatments at home using the amount of fluids your vet considers safe for your kitty. (The amount might be smaller, possibly half the amount normally used in other situations, treating CRF for instance.)

I haven't had personal experience with ES Clear, but a friend has. She says that it worked wonders for her babe. I remember that her cat was actually acting almost like a little kitten again, she had so much energy. Since its made of herbs and there are no side effects, and the company says its good for long-term use, I don't think it would hurt to give it a try. Good Luck!
