Update on Tom 3-28

I think that Tom is doing well. He had the urinary blockage and the beginning of kidney disease.
He is running around outside with Mixy, getting on top of the roof and meowing for food.
I had to take him for a check up but right now, I can't afford it.
I still owe $1,200 for his recent treatment and I am likely to have surgery next week. He is almost done with his meds.
I am also trying to find something that he'll like to eat besides the prescription KD.
I am giving him mostly wet food that found on a website that can compare to the diet food.
Please send good vibes so that he won't get as sick as he was.
Thank you.

I am so happy to see he is getting better. The food is so important. I hope you can keep him on what is making him better.

Yes, I hope so too. I have had two cats with these kinds of issues. The vet told me they needed to eat the prescription food as their regular diet and if they didn't they would have ongoing problems with blockages, etc.

Just want to say thanks for the update on Tom and glad he is doing well. You sure are a wonderful person to be taking such good care of Tom... It sounds like that food is doing it's job and I would try to keep him on that if at all possible. I really hope he stays well and continues to be healthy
