Tessie has been doing this for about a month now. She will throw up about once a week, It looks like basically water with just a tint of yellow (no food or hair). Is this something I should be concerned about or do you think she may be drinking her water to fast? Every time I see her throw up, it's at night while I "was sleeping" so I have no idea if she drank right before or not. She is her self otherwise, still eats normal and runs around the apartment like a crazy cat, lol.
I am planning on bringing her to the vet in April for her checkup but I didn't know if this problem could wait until then or not.
Thank you,

No hair this last time, just watery liquid. 2 weeks ago there was a tiny bit of hair in the throw up but that's about it.

It could be a hairball that isn't passing, in such case it can quickly become a medical emergency. It could also be from something else and be a symptom of something much more serious.
I would just take her in this week. There's no point in waiting, it'll prevent her annual vacs if she's to be getting them, since you don't want to vaccinate a sick cat. So all you'll be doing is putting off something that may get worse (and more expensive to treat).

Good luck at the vet.

Have you tried giving the cat some hairball remedy. It won't hurt your cat and might help if the issue is hairballs.

It just sounds like stomach bile to me. Yes, could be the start of a hairball problem. but is also could be your cat is hungry and having the empty stomach in the middle of the night makes her feel sick. I would try feeding her a small meal right before you go to bed and see if that helps with the nighttime vomiting. Since it is just once a week, I think you could wait till your upcoming April vet appt.

I agree with feeding a small portion before bed. It may help. Could also be a hairball that she cannot get up. Hairball remedy contains petroleum jelly so a small amount of vaseline on the paws or tiny amount of butter. Good luck.

Out cat did it a few times and we couldn't figure out why. It went away when we introduced more meals over the course of a day.

Thank you for all the help.

Strange Wings - If it get worse, I will defiantly be bringing her to the vet.

I will start giving her some hairball meds to see if that help.

I feed her twice a day 1/4 cup each time (sometimes I mix in a can of wet instead of the dry). She never eats it all and there is always some left in her dish before bed so she must not be hungry. Maybe I will try and give her a treat or 2 to hold her off until morning.

Thanks again!
