Vibes for Asher today

Just wanted to request some vibes for my sweet foster kitty Asher today. I'll be dropping him off at Save the Animals Foundation, our local shelter that takes in cats with feline leukemia, this afternoon. It's a wonderful place where he'll get the best of care and a lot of love. I'm sure Asher will be a little scared at first, so please send some calming vibes his way. I'll be sending along some of his favorite toys and plan to visit once Asher gets settled in. I've become very attached to Asher and it's been a joy watching him transform from a scared, injured kitty into a very playful, confident young cat. He's a special guy.

Thanks, guys. It was very hard letting go of that sweet boy, but it was reassuring that he sat on the shelter director's lap and seemed pretty calm when I left. I've never had a rescue cat/foster go to this shelter before, so was grateful that the director took the time to explain their procedures and the kind of care leukemia cats receive. Sounds like Asher will get a lot of attention and playtime. He'll love that.

Because he tested positive for feline leukemia, his chances of getting adopted are pretty limited, but I'm not giving up hope. We're going to mention him in the rescue's next newsletter and I've listed him on several FeLV/special needs websites. Also, since TCS vibes are so powerful, you never know. He might get a real home after all!.
