Kitten food helps with weight gain

I know I asked on here some months ago if giving my thin kitty kitten food would help her put on a little weight. I just got her some kitten formula a couple weeks ago, and I've been letting her snack on it in addition to her normal kibbles...I'm happy to say she had gained a noticeable amount of weight.

She doesn't look a lot bigger, but I'd say she's put on at least 2-3 pounds. I will not let her become overweight, but I'm so glad she's gained a bit. And she loves the kitten formula.

Kitten food tends to add weight pretty quickly on adult cats. It's like muching candy One of my cats is really active and lost a lot of weight pretty quickly. I took her to the vet and there were no physical issues so I put her on Nutro Max kitten food. She packed on some more weight and is now off the kitten food. She has managed to keep her weight on and I'm feed her an adult food, Nutro Max Salmon. She is not getting the indoor formula, just the regular indoor/outdoor formula and is doing quite well on it. Sounds like your kitty is doing well.
