If I try a new food by the same brand, do I need to do the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 intro? Or because it's the same brand can I just give it to her?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Look at the ingredients, if they aren't very similar, which often they are not at all, then its the same as switching to another brand.

Generally-speaking, canned foods need no transition (many folks actually feed it in regular rotations), but kibble usually requires one, even between flavors within the same brand.

Hi Jingles - You did not indicate if you are feeding canned, dry or both. If it's dry kibble, you will most likely want to do the gradual intro. Even the same brands will use different formulas for different kinds of foods. An example would be like changing from a Nutro Indoor product to a Nutro regular product. The formulas are different but made by the same company. Check your ingredients and see if there are any big differences. If there are, use the gradual conversion to the new food.
