My first sig

Hi, so Im new to the forum's and I seen everyone talking about the signature's and thought this would be a fun little hobby for me to do. I downloaded the free trial of adobe photoshop cause I was'nt sure I was gonna be able to get the hang of it. I made my first sig tonight but there's a few thing's that Im kinda stumped on, so I was wondering if I could get some help from you more experienced girl's. I wanted to put my cat's photo on the sig but could NOT figure out how to do it so I just had to use this wallpaper I found online. If you could explain it to me step by step that would be great

The file size on the signature you are currently using is too large.

Ok im sorry, I wasnt sure where to look to see how big the file was but I figured it out and made one the right size but I have a problem, every time I try to go change it and I click on add image a small page of thecatesite pop's up and say's "no such article". It wont let me make this page bigger or nothing. Not sure what to do?
