My Female cat hisses at her brother now! HELP

Hi everyone this is my firt time posting too! We have 3 cats Milo is 5 and Layla and Panda are brother and sister and just turned one. Panda our little baddy got out and we found him outside on out second floor apt. When we brought him back home after my daughter found him, His sister (Layla) smells his butt and NOW hisses at him. Our older cat Milo still loves him but at a distance. Could Layla be mad at her brother for leaving?

She was calling out to him the night he got out. I don't know what to do I had my daughter wipe Panda down with baby wipes incase he had a scent on another cat. We have a few strays out here BUT he looks great a little scared but he's back to himself. I don't know what to do as Layla and Panda both came from the same litter..

HELP!

He could have had a close encounter with another cat and that is what his sister is reacting to. He smells different and cats freak out sometimes about that.

Whenever I bring one of my kitties home from the vet, I wipe them down with something that has their own scent on it, like a fave blanket or something. It somewhat disguises the different smells he has brought with him from the vet.

Try that and everything will settle down eventually as he starts to smell like his old self again!

Thank YOU sooo much! Panda always sleeps with my daughter as all of our cats are indoors only. I am sure she has something that he's laid on thank you thank you!...Carol
