Congratulations, Grandma! Our daughter's husband was lost in a certain former president's war. She went three years without dating. She is now living with a man at age 31 and we are soooo hoping that we can be called grandma and grandpa in the near future. But our daughter is the producer of Fringe, which has just been renewed for a fourth year. We are so proud of her career but we are still hoping.

How sad that she lost her husband but wonderful to hear that she has met another partner. Wow, you soooo should be proud of her for her career.

How are you feeling yourself, Lee?

Now that the first trimester is over, she's doing very well. Happy, contented, looking forward to being a mom. Her SO is thrilled as there are no girls in his family.

They have come up with some names but nothing carved in stone yet. They have thought of naming her after his mom and me (Luella). I told her to forget that! Her SO is 1/2 native Canadian Indian so I suggested to him that they call her Hiawatha. He got a chuckle out of that.

I personally like Luella. That was my Mom and grandma's name. Spelled that way, too.

Jan is good, too.

OH a little girl!!!!! I LOVE the name Luella
. Very pretty name. Hiawatha - not sure on that one
Well, you could add some pink yarn in with the green and yellow. Will make it very colorful

It seems they are going to combine his mom's middle name (Ellen) and mine (Louella) and give the baby the middle name of Ella.

They are doing the usual name thing and have come up with some but who knows what the end result will be, they like Guinevere (old form of Jennifer), Gwen, I like Genevieve but most folks would not pronounce it correctly. We'll just wait and see I guess.

Congratulations. A friend of mine just had twins and she didn't settle on names until the end. The babies had developed personalities during her pregnancy and the names suddenly felt right.
