Jessica, what you say is profound. Age can be transcended by a common interest. I hesitated starting this thread because I know age can be a unbridgeable item between some people and was sorry that I posted it. But it now looks like a good topic and you have made a very important point.

We now have a blue eyed girl that admits she is 66. But we have another that says she is more than 64. What the heck? If you are 80, you are more than 64!
Come forth and tell us your true age!

Many of you remember in my better days I spent hours and hours a day on TCS creating games such as KatKwiz, KatKwery, What Country is this?, and on and on it went. So I am going to return to old times and award the oldest person on TCS 100,000 points! Right now, I still think I am the oldest person on TCS but will not reveal my age unti Wednesday. If nobody comes forth that is older than me, I keep the points.

I played it over and over and over. Never thought it would apply to me and unfortunately, it did not apply to half the Beatles.
One of the guys I work with turned 64 two weeks ago, and he did the same thing!

I know of an active poster that is older than you, but I am certainly not going to point any fingers.

Heh, whatever happened to KatKwiz BTW?
I donated quit a few points to its cause: if you're not gonna use them, I want them back!

I hope you know I'm just messing with you!

For my 18th birthday everyone asked me what kind of party I'd have, as it's a milestone I suppose, but all I could say was "NOOOO I'm getting oooollllllllllldddddddd!"

So anyway, I meant to say. Back in my day. . . . . . . . . . . .
Honey, if you think your bones are creakin' now - just wait! You ain't seen nothin' yet!

I know. I'm scweeeered.

Truthfully, I mostly feel mentally old.
That probably doesn't make sense. I just feel ancient.

Let's just say that in 9 days my age will no longer begin with 6. Arghhhh.
However, my dad just had his 97th birthday last week. Still mobile; a little dotty but mobile.

I know we have at least one great-grandma on here; but nowadays that doesn't always mean much....at my last job before baby my co-worker's neighbor was in her 30s or something crazy like that!

I'm 27! Like Jessica said, I love that so many of us can come together with no age barrier to discuss what we love- OUR CATS!

We should start a thread to see who has the oldest kitty!

OK, I'm just reading this thread, and rather than read thru 6 pages to find out where we are now, I'll just state that I'm 57.

THAT will get worse with age, too!

Aren't you looking forward to it now?

Great idea! I'll have to play my Sgt Peppers album on my turntable on that milestone day also!!

Not only do I remember the song, I play it on the piano all the time. DH and I belt out the lyrics as I play.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Gary and I are both 48. "Getting older" never bothered me.
And as I've said before, 40 wasn't any kind of milestone for me, because I'd already realized my physical peak was 37. That's when I stopped getting carded.

I rarely think about age on the forums - an insight is an insight, good advice is good advice, and fun is fun, no matter what package it comes in or the age of that package!

Oh - and, sadly, Gary and no longer have albums or a turntable. We both lived out of backpacks for far too many years to have items like that arrive with us into our adult lives.
And if it had? Doubt it would have made the cut when we got rid of everything to move into the RV full time.

I'm 25 and my boyfriend (Mike) is 28, we have THREE turntables in our apartment, lol, as well as a rather extensive record collection. We both like the sound of records far more than CDs or digital music, and most of the bands we listen to will release their albums in vinyl format with a digital copy of the cd.

after reading this I realized that I always misheard the lyrics of that song.
It makes more sense now. I thought it was will you still love me will you still feed me when I'm 64.
I always wondered why she would stop feeding him at 64...

I'm a huge Beatle's Fan.
and I'm 28.
