Well, this is it.

We gots health certificate, export certificate, rabies certificate. Geez, this cat needs more ID than I do to leave the country!

I managed to fit her turbo scritcher and basket (sans pillow) in my suitcase. I just hope the 4 bottles of booze don't break so it smells like gasoline before I get to Seattle (my brother asked for 3 of these).

One last pic or two of the little sweetie before we take off!

Oh wow, I bet you are so excited to get back. We will be thinking of you and Aya. JUst a thought, are liquids allowed on planes?

Did you check on the legality of bringing in the booze?

That's a problem cruise ship passengers run into all the time.

I've brought booze in from other countries (Belgian beer!!) with no trouble, the only 'problem' was customs guy trying to tell me it's wine and not beer. If it's in checked luggage it's fine too. Hope you wrapped the bottles well!!

Both me and my bro have brought back 2 bottles before. (I just realized its 5 bottles this time!) 3 are real small. It's awamori. Which is to vodka what sake is to wine... And one small ume shu.
