Nose nipper meezer

Misty my chocolate point is weird! She loves,loves to try and stick her muzzle up your nose and sniff like crazy! Plus she does the same if our mouth is open *sniff,sniff*

One little thing she did after we got her was nip your nose!
Misty would be purring like mad then sidle up and nip you on the nose!! Just a gentle nip but still a nip.....Meezers are weird.

It's not just meezers, lovely and eccentric as they are. My brown mackerel tabby girl does that, too. Instead of nipping, though, she takes one claw and pokes it on the end of my nose after the sniffy thing. I am getting a tiny callous on the end of my nose!

Meezers are weird. One of the top reasons I love them.

Nose nipping isn't limited to meezers, though. As a child I had a DSH kitty who used to that. I loved it and I thought it was so funny and cute.

Gilbert my Turkish Angora does this too! He has done this to me since the night we found him (he was approx fourteen weeks old), a nip on the end of the nose followed by a nose wash! He also loves me to stroke his nose. When i do this he purrs, closes his eyes and opens his mouth in rapt enjoyment

That is tooooooooooo adorable! Something to get on video for sure!

Well, little Squint will be licking my entire face and when she gets to my nose - I guess because it sticks out, she thinks it's a toy, she'll nip, but her nip includes her to bottom teeth sinking into my nose which hurrrrrrrrrts, lol. Only slightly bled once.

I know her little tricks now. She's so small for a full-grown cat, I just haven't been able to think of her as full grown yet.

What is it about noses??? Pipsqueak and Perla are my nose nippers. Pipsqueak is strong little nipper too.. There are also two cats at the shelter that love to nip the volunteers noses. Their nicknames are Nosey's
