Do you play video games?

I am just curious to see what all games everyone plays if any.

I play World of Warcraft and have for four years now. I resisted for a few years due to the pay per month but it is totally worth it. I used to play the Half-Life games but I am just sucky at first person shooter games.

Consoles..the only one I did well at is Mario Party 4. I also play a bit of Pokemon on the DS.

I grew up on Nintendo, and I am a Nintendo girl... I have a Wii, I like Mario Party, Guitar Hero, MarioKart. I also have a DS but only a few games. I love Super Mario Bros., MarioKart & I am totally addicted to Animal Crossing for some reason.

I've never gotten into WoW. My brother says it's because I've never played, so that could be true... I have a brother and a BIL who are addicted to WoW. I have just never felt the desire to play it.

I love Pokemon! I have since I was a teen. My husband recently bought me a DSI and a few of the new pokemon games so I've been playing those lately. We also have a Wii and the wii fit, playstation 2 and an old Nintendo 64. My favorite Playstation game is Champions of Noroth. We have Mario Party games for our Wii and also the Nintendo 64.

I mostly just play pokemon though.

PS - Most of Final Fantasy series
Nintendo - Zelda and Mario
PC - Age of Empire and Sims

Since I am from the previous generation, today's games are hard for me to handle.

I play a lot of NES games, as well as SNES.

I do own a ps2 but I really only play Singstar, lol.

On the computer, I play multiplayer Doom2, Blockland (kiddie, but its basically virtual lego) and Sims3.

I wonder if Pokemon will ever die out. I played it with my son on Nintendo Yellow (I think that is what the handheld was called). We watched all the shows and had tons of plush stuffed animals.

Many years later, my daughter is really into it. She can't count money very well but could tell you any attack any Pokemon has.

What I really like about WoW are the puns. One of my favorites was Thomas Kolichio, the cooking trainer.

About 10 years ago I used to play Ultima Online. Played for a couple of years, rather intensely. Then came to realize I was playing it to waste time instead of spend time. Plus I found the gaming community rather rude and ignorant. So I stopped playing. Don't miss it at all.

About the only games I play now are computer games here in the Arcade, and a few of the interactive mystery search games that I buy from time to time.

I don't even know what that is!!

I like most first person shooters and strategy games. CoD and Civ5 ftw!

My cats don't let me play much though.

The only digital game they like is "smack the expensive TV as hard as you can trying to pounce on the mouse cursor and smudge it with your greezy paws".... ugh!

Yep, me. I've never played it, my brother has it on his iPhone, I've never even bothered to look at it to be honest

I like Pokemon games, I'm playing Pokemon White now. I love the Call of Duty series, I have Black Ops and am addicted to it. I tried WoW as all my friends were talking about it, wasn't too appealing for me (I had no idea how to play ) I really want to get a 3DS, it seems amazing, another 3D gadget in the house (we got a new Sony TV ) My brother loves racing games, I've battled him in them, he almost always wins

Jackz, Jazzy & Ginga.

I play C.O.D. Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops for the PS3, on the Wii I play Super Mario, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports, Zelda with my son.

I am one of the few who do NOT have Angry Birds on my cell phone LOL (probably because my phone can't handle it LOL) my boyfriend however LOVES it on his.

I convinced my mom to buy me my first computer, and Apple ][e, about 25 years ago. I told her it would help me with my schoolwork, but the reality was that I wanted to play this game I saw at school called "The Bard's Tale." That was a great game and I remember playing it, Wasteland, the early Ultima games, and a few others like Moon Lander. When I moved over to the PC, I started playing Civ, the Myst series, and some of the Might & Magic games. I played every Might and Magic game from 3 to 9

My only foray with the online games was a 3-year period when I played Everquest. I tend to really get into games when I'm playing them. I figured out that I was spending more time playing Everquest than I was at my full-time job, so I finally quit. At least with the single-player games, even if I get really into it, it only lasts for a couple of weeks before I win and get bored with it.

I don't own a console, but I still play games on the PC these days. Some of my recent games have been Fallout New Vegas (I've played the whole series), Dragon Age Origins, and Mass Effect 2.

Whats Angry Birds?

I just suck at FPS. My son is great at them. When Half-Life came out, he beat it before I did.

You're exactly like me! I'm a Nintendo guitar. I grew up on the NES, then SNES, then N64, Gameboy color, DS, Wii, and I still have at least one of each still working. Nintendo knows how to make a good product.

I've played WoW and I loved it, (after I first played Diablo II, I was completely addicted to RPGs) but I really didn't like the monthly payments so I stopped. And I'm a guitar hero nut. I've been involved with music pretty much my entire life, so those rhythm games have always been easy for me. Which guitar hero do you play?

I play (mostly console) video games. My favorites are action-adventure games like the Assassin's Creed franchise (I have also enjoyed the Prince of Persia series and some of the more recent Tomb Raider games). I also like some survival horror games, although I've been known to let them creep me out pretty badly . (I have a friend with a huuuuge TV plus surround sound, and I don't think I'd enjoy playing Fatal Frame or Silent Hill at his house!)

I know what you mean about the first-person shooter games, Zohdee. They don't come naturally to me, but I have noticed that I get better the more I play.

Has anyone played the Fatal Frame series? Now, that was a console game that I loved. I liked Fatal Frame 2 the best.

I also love the Silent Hill games. Eerie games they are. There was one that I can't remember the name of but it was scary. I asked my son and it was called Siren.

In the past I did, but only Zombie games

I don't play video games since I don't have a Nintendo or anything like that, but I can play Nintendo games that I have installed on the computer. Sometimes I'll play Mario Bros. 1 & 2, , Tetris, & Pacman, but mostly I play Wheel Of Fortune & Family Feud. I also have card, poker, and word games installed from buying the games on a disc. My favorites are the word games - like Word Yahtzee, Anagrams, & Word Ox. I also like playing Cribbage & Poker - especially Texas Hold' Em. I like the slot machine games, too.

I am also a great Galaga player. I can play that for close to an hour on one quarter.

We used to have a Super Nintendo and Playstation growing up... I recently bought a Wii and love it.

The joys of emulators. I play a few NES, SNES, and genesis games on my phone now and then. The emulators are terrible on battery life, though.

We have several consoles and as such I play a few games occasionally. For the most part I'm picky, cheap (wait till games are older and cost $30 or less), and can't play many games.
Anything too fast paced, and especially FPS, are out. I have that problem that many have with getting dizzy from them - It carries over to things like treadmills, exercise bikes, and the like.

Used to play WoW, switched over to Lord of the Rings online, loving it.

You might try turning on a desk fan to blow air in your face. I get horrible motion sickness due to inner ear problems, and mostly get dizzy from artificial motion simulation from things as you describe. Having cool air blow in my face somehow helps my brain sync up with the artificial movement. Give it a try, hope it helps!

I love online games. We don't have any consoles but I want to get a Wii and DH has promised to budget for one once I get a job. DH and I play together and build characters that complement each other, as a form of entertainment and a way to spend time together. It was something we started when we were dating long distance because it was something we both liked to do before we met, and we could do it while being 300 miles apart. We used to play Everquest II, and now we play a MMORPG called Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. We do have to pay a monthly subscription fee, but consider that our primary cost of entertainment since we don't have cable or any other entertainment expenses.

I got hooked when the Nintendo 64 came out! My husband, daughter, and I are gamers and have all the consoles and portables. We are on our third Xbox 360 and our second PlayStation 3, but in our defense we watch DVDs on them, too, since we don't have/use cable TV and that helps to wear them out. I currently have the oldest DS so it looks like I'm getting a 3DSi this summer!

Husband likes the online Halo-type games, daughter and I love adventure ones - favorites are the Zelda games; Rock Band is super-fun!

I've had fans blowing on me in the past and have been thoroughly checked for vestibular issues (because docs initially think lightheaded and problems standing = inner ear and not nervous system problems. ).
All air blowing on my face does it help dry my eyes out faster since blink rate while playing games is slower.

I don't play PC games. There's a few for linux that I might like, but I don't feel like sitting at my PC much anymore.

Oh boy, I'm definitely a video game nerd.

My consoles are limited, though, and that's because although I love video games, when I get some extra cash it almost always goes to the girls.

I play Runescape online. Most people play WOW but I loves Runsescape and still feel loyal to it.
I LOVE the Sims, but my computer had multiple viruses and had to get wiped. I went to re-install The Sims 2 and the first disk was cracked all the way through!

I only have a PS2, an ancient (and amazing) Sega Genesis, and a GBA.

I love to play Pokemon on my GBA. I have yellow, gold, and blue. I want a DS so I can play Heart Gold/Soul Silver! I also have some Mario games, some randoms like Scooby Doo, Shrek, Fantastic Four, etc.

For my Genesis my favorite games are Earthworm Jim and most of all this game I have where you're a rabbit. I can't remember the name right now but I still treasure it from my youth.

On my PS2 I have the most variety. Lately I've been working through the Jak and Daxter series. I just gave up on Chronicles of Narnia. The last battle scene is impossible. I won't really give up, but I need a break. Another new game I got is Bully. It's the only "real life" game I have (as opposed to fantasy of different kinds) and it's lots of fun.
I got an Amazon gift card and I'm aiming to get Silent Hill. I love love love horror movies and horror video games. I played Resident Evil when I was like 7 on my PS and I was sold.
