I'm a fan of a group called "Wedgwood." It's a folk religious group that had a brief popularity in the late 60's and early 70's. They were Seventh-day Adventists, and that church is notoriously conservative about music...or, at least, it was back then.

They produced a number of albums, probably the best of which is "Country Church." However, their last album was "Wedgwood Live," recorded at a church performance and re-mixed in the studio, with a lot of orchestration, etc. Some of the leaders of the church had a falling out with them, which caused the captive recording studio (Bridge) to recall all the copies of that last album and destroy them.

For that reason, that album is very rare. I heard it once or twice back in college, but I haven't seen it since.

I've been watching a listing for a copy of it on e-bay, but they're setting a strarting bid of over $250 and that's too rich for my blood.

However, on just a whim, I tried a new search, and came up with one for sale for a buy-it-now price of $11. Needless to say, I snapped it up.

I've been a little worried, because it was overdue for delivery, but it finally came today. Sounds SOOOOO good!
