Persephone's Babies!!! **CUTENESS ALERT**

Well they're here! 4 beautiful, precious, seemingly healthy babies, all born IN THE LITTER BOX! I woke up this morning and found Persi and all 4 babies curled up in the litter. I had to clean everyone off and had to cut all but 1 umbilical cords. Persi was very confused and had no clue what was going on. I finally convinced her to nurse and all seems to be going very well! She doesn't seem to be too worn out and she's been eating.

So, it looks like we have 3 boys and 1 girl I THINK. The 2 orange ones I believe are boys we're calling Apollo and Ares, the white and black is male, Hermes and the white with tabby spots I think is female who I am calling Hera. Sticking with the Greek God/Goddess theme. Hera is the loud one.

Ohhhhh.... mmmyyyyyyyyy!!!! So glad she is with you!! The babies are gorgeous. Persi will get the hangs of things!

What a beautiful family!! LOL @ her having them in the litter box!! Poor girl. Glad she has you to show her the ropes and get her mommying off to a good start!

I am soooo in love already!

The good news is I have a home lined up for at least one, possibly 2! A woman who adopted one of my fosters in the past mentioned her inlaws my be looking for an orange boy soon, but aside from that I got a bittersweet email last night.
Frank, who adopted one of my previous fosters, Filbert, emailed saying that had to put their other cat down due to cancer. He said he is not in a rush but would eventually like to adopt another kitty from me as a friend for Filbert! I emailed back with pics of Persi and mentioned how she was in labor and they are thrilled and will be coming soon to meet the family and will be adopting one!

Oh wow, they are gorgeous!!!
My fave part about kitten babies is the miniscule little kitty noses.

Aww, that's great that everyone is off to a healthy start, despite beginning life in the litterbox.. Hey, things can only get better from there, right?

They are super cute, and Persephone looks like she will get into the mom routine just fine..

Great news that you already have potential homes for some of them already too!!

I'll see what I can do. Yeah Persi seems to have gotten the hang of things which is great! I just hope they continue to thrive and do well.

Sounds like this is her first litter. She is lucky to have you to show her the ropes. She looks so content nursing those little babies.
