At last good news!

Bugsy's months of diarrhea ordeal after a dose of Clavamox, all the medicine that he took to manage that, took a tool on his little body, especially on his liver. His ALT numbers spiked and kept going up so he had to be taken off all medications, including his stomatitis medication

Today, a couple of months completely off meds, he had a liver panel, and lo and behold it is all normal

I am starting his stomatitis treatment tonight for his great displeasure
and he is having a much needed stomatitis dental Friday to put his mouth in check. Being off treatment really made him take a step back.
I am just sooooooo relieved!

I had a conversation with the vet about his poop, which is still very soft, but "formed", and he said his belly feels ok to the touch, he is not jumpy like he was before as though he was in pain, and he feels no gas. He feels we can keep him off meds for now, just manage him with diet, probiotics and fiber
- though he wants to try pumpkin now.
Hope also went in for her annual, got dewormed and Purevax rabies. My vet said they now only do the 3-in-1 vaccine once every three years; no need to do it yearly for inside cats - I like that thought!
