My 5 month old kitten is slightly underweight. Last she was weighed she was stable at 4.7 pounds. My vet gave her science diet for surgery pts to put on weight. My challenge with her is im trying to get her to go back to kitten food whcih right now im trying to get her to go to Blue Buffalo kitten for heatly growth. Right now I mix a small amount reg catfood with small amout on kitten food and make a 'gravy' of the sd. and sometimes small amounts of babyfood for extra protein. Is there any high protein suppliments i can give her in addition to this? Like a kitty treat or somthing?

4.7 pounds is not too small for a 5 month old, especially a female- she may just end up being a small cat in general. I've seen fully grown cats that are only 6-7 pounds, fully fed and cared for. It seems like you're doing everything right to help her along, and as long as she's constantly gaining, you don't have to worry too much
