Introducing existing cat to a new kitten

I have a 10 month old neutered male siamese mix, Archer, that I've had since he was 8 weeks old. Just this last weekend I got a 9 week old siamese female, Nestle, who hasnt been spayed. I've been trying to introduce them since I got a clean bill of health from the vet on Monday. For the most part, they seem to be relatively ok, but, Archer doesnt seem to know when to stop. He will chase Nestle and rough house with her to the point where she eventually gets upset and hisses at him several times, and he STILL doesnt stop. This is the point where I step in and separate them... I have ferrets too, and the general rule when introducing ferrets is no blood, no pee, no poop, no foul. Does that apply to cats too? SHOULD I be stepping in at this point, or just let them work it out as long as there's no serious harm done?

If i were you i would slow things down a bit, let them have supervised time together and if he gets rough, time out. Put his furry butt in a room by himself(siamese hate being separated)

Rinse and repeat until he learns to be more gentle with the kitten.

Thats what Ive been doing... The moment he gets too rough and she starts hissing at him and he doesnt back off, I grab him and lock him in the bathroom...

So, Archer has been digging in Nestle's litter box. Im assuming this was some attempt to mark his territory. Nestle seems ok with it for the most part. She was still using the litter box all day even though he did it... I had her downstairs with me all day with playpens up in the living room so she could get to know Archer some more, but still be confined to 1 room so I can supervise. But, last night when we were getting ready for bed, she peed right next to the litter box instead of inside of it... Could I be giving her too much freedom be allowing her to wander the whole room? Could this be a reaction to Archer being territorial and her own little way of protesting? Or is she just being a 9 week old kitten and had an accident? I took the same litter box upstairs with me when I put her to bed.... She has a playpen in my room which is her safe zone and she used the same litter box in there all night with no issues...

On the plus side, Archer is getting used to her!!! When I first brought her home, he wouldnt come upstairs at all for a couple days since she was on the 2nd floor and he could smell her through the doors. Last night I left the bedroom door cracked and he came and slept in bed with me like he usually does! I think he's forgiving me for bringing home this intruder into his territory and his mommy... hehehe
