Boy do we love this guy. He's just got such a sweet, playful nature!

Little by little, he's really settling in.
Of course he and Billy still have their love sessions, and we're just SO GLAD they've got each other.

But he's starting to meow for attention now.
It usually means he wants to play - but sometimes it's because he wants a head bumping session.
(He didn't like hands at first, so like with Billy, I started "petting" him with my head, and he purrs up a storm).

He loves hanging out on the printer and the dash, and leaping around and playing like a mad man on the cat trees. But he's expanded his territory to include ALL of the couch
AND he's been coming back to the bedroom to sleep with us part of the nights again.

Relaxing and stretching on the back of the couch:

And a first - hanging out on the seat of the couch.

In the mornings, I sit on that white cat bed, and Chum will jump down and walk around on my lap as I lean my head forward to bump his cheeks.

Laurie, Chum is a very very very handsome cat! My gosh! I love his long whiskers and he has very soulful eyes and of course his chunky cute legs.
you know what I just noticed? Chums right ear is tipped. Out here in Illinois, it is the left ear that gets tipped. Interesting huh?! I am glad you pm'd me about Chums pictures. I haven't been on this fun forum for awhile!! Shame on me, I now have to see all of the pictures I have been missing out on

Awwwwww!!!!! Such a handsome dude!!! I found Casper sleeping in a pair of blue jeans I left on the floor. He kinda crawled inside the waist and snuggled in... I guess it was comfy and it smelled like Momma. LOL!!

What a dear sweet boy he is. Jennie (also rescued stray) does that too, stretching her paws straight out in front of her and curling her toes. The Ultimate Contentment Pose I call that.

Thanks for sharing Chumley with us, I love him!

Actually, most do ear-tip the left ear! It's just at this vet practice, it depends upon the vet that's doing it.
Some of the cats have the left ear tipped, and some have the right ear tipped.

Chumley is so handsome
. So cuddle-able!

Both my kitties have both their ears tipped and they are from different rescues/vets. Huh! An Ohio practice maybe?

His coat is so beautiful--like night and day from when you first started taking care of him!

He's gorgeous!
He looks so wise (and a little grumpy
) with the squinty-eye look, but so inquisitive when he's got his eyes wide open!
