New to the Board, Not to the Cats

Hey everyone,

Just found this site while browsing for info on feline diabetes (my oldest cat was just recently diagnosed last month). I decided to go ahead and join because it seems like it will be a great resource in the coming months!

My fiance and I have 3 cats, he's a brave man and took on a package deal with the 4 of us. Snickers (the diabetic) is a 9 year old calico, Heidi is a 7 year old silver tabby, and Pepper is a 6 year old Russian blue (not purebred, some kind of "mutt" ). All 3 are rescues and each has been with me from the time they were 6-8 weeks old.

We are transplanted Okies from Tulsa now living in Kansas.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I'll try to get some pics posted tomorrow. And anyone who has any experience with feline diabetes they'd like to share, please feel free to PM me. I would welcome any suggestions you might have!

You are welcome to start a thread there, with your questions about diabetes.
Because diabetes will be a life long challenge for you and Snickers,
I think that you will find a lot of support there from our members, some who have kitties with diabetes.
