This is the weekend of the GoodGuys hot rod show at Texas Motor Speedway. I'm about to head out and go over there with my hot rod.

If you want to see some very serious cars (not mine!), this is a great opportunity. The weather is good and the admission is $15. They're expecting about 1500 cars.

Maybe some photos later...

I could have taken your DH. When you pay your car entry fee, you get 2 adult tickets. As it was, I just watched for a guy walking in by himself, picked him up, and used my extra ticket for today for him. Saved him $15.

I still have tickets for tomorrow.

So...what kind of hot rod do you folks like? I think I find some of just about everything, so I'll post pictures.

Stephanie, PM me if your DH wants to take a ride up there with me tomorrow morning. I'll check first thing in the morning. Mostly it's giving out prizes tomorrow; today was the biggest day of the weekend.
