I burnt my hand at work Monday from a glue gun. It was actually two fingers and bad enough that the skin came off right away on one. It's not pretty and extremely painful
...... Blister on one.....

and this is the painful one.....

But atleast I also got this adorable picture of Maia out of it!

Yikesarama! Keep an eye on that spot that's already exposed to be sure it doesn't get infected. Are you keeping it cleaned and treated with Neosporin or something like that?

BUT! That is a really cute pic of Maia!!

but seriously that stuff works(only thing is it wont wash off so don't eat/prepare food with that hand.

husband did something and I told him it was a cream for pain so i know i aint (that) nuts

Ouch!! I hope those heal fast for you!!

When I was in the 8th grade I managed to get friction burns on the tips of both my index fingers and both my thumbs in shop class. It was SOOO painful! I sat in the nurses office with my fingers under running cold water for a looong time. When I finally decided to go back to class I could hardly sit there; I had to go to the rest room to put them under cold water again. My friend had to help me get home...I carried a bowl of water around all evening and even slept with ice packs. I couldn't believe how bad it hurt. I lost some feeling in both my index fingers; more so in the right one. But not completely thank the Lord! I don't even notice it unless I run my nail over it or something.

That really doesn't look pleasant. Maybe you should sue the company. Hah, kidding. I did that too once as a child. I thought it would be equivalent to a glue stick.

Buy some of the waterproof bandages. I lightly burnt my forarm a couple of weeks ago at work taking cookies out of the oven. I cleaned and put the waterproof band aides on it and it stayed firm in place even with showering and dishes!

That looks painful. I have heard that burns are one of the most painful calamities to happen.

Take care and I hope it feels better soon!
