This is Sunshine's Mommy Heidi! When we learned she was up for adopton after being retired as a "Breeding Cat" we decided that Sunshine and Heidi should spend the rest of their lives together! When we went to pick up Heidi we saw an 8 week old, deaf kitten we named "Snowflake"! She is Sunshine's half sister! Her photo is above!

Oh, my goodness - what beautiful cats....and how blessed to have a wonderful home. Truly Sophie was looking out for both her 'parents' and these 'sisters' of hers - she wanted you all to know the love she shared with you.

We just learned that "Snowflake's" father was named "Link" and is Sunshine's brother! SOOOO Heidi is Sunshine's Mother, Sunshine is Snowflake's Aunt and Heidi is actually Snowflake's Grandmother! We learned that a breeding cat in a cattery can have 3 or 4 litters a year. Heidi at age three could have had a many as 9 litters! So it's no wonder that Heidi just wants to relax and not be bothered by little kittens, especially those that aren't hers!

Heidi will now have a relaxing retirement and can watch Snowflake chase Sunshine around the house!

As our Grandson said, "Wow you adopted a whole family of Cats!" We were fortunate to adopt "Sunshine" after our 16 year old Persian died after a short illness! Then we learned that her Mother, Heidi, a Breeding Momma cat who just turned four on June 29th was retiring from Breeding and was available for adoption! When we we went to pick up Heidi who had just been spayed, we saw an 8 week old dollfaced Persian that was deaf and needed a good forever home, so we adopted her and named her Snowflake! She looks just like the Persian kitten in the "Will you Marry us Commercial"! She's our celebration of Life for our recent 43rd anniversary! Heidi is her "Grandmother" and Sunshine is her aunt!

Well it's been a little over 5 months since Sophie crossed the rainbow bridge! She helped us find a whole family of kitties to brighten our lives and mend our broken hearts! Sunshine of our lives was a "rescue cat" in foster care that we adopted a few weeks after Sophie passed! She led us to her Mom, Heidi a retired Breeder who we adopted on June 1st! When we went to pick her up we saw an 8week old persian dollfaced kitten that had "Odd eyes" one blue and one green and was also deaf! We adopted her too!

Snowflake is 4 months old today! On Tuesday she goes to the vet to be spayed! Hopefully, she'll slow down a bit! She spends 1/2 the day cuddleing with her Grandma and Aunt and the evenings terrorizing them!

Here is a photo of them in a calm moment!

Thanks for your help posting the photos! I've been trying to figure it out without much luck!

We just brought Baby Snowflake home from the vet after being Spayed! She is really active! We were hoping it would slow her down a bit as she keeps atacking her Grandmother and "Auntie Sunshine"!

The 4 year old former breeder, Heidi, who now weighs 10lbs just wants to be left alone after three years and God knows how many babies! She follows me like a "puppy"! She hops up on the bed to a "hand command"! Sunshine, her one year old daughter has really calmed down and loves to crawl under the covers with Diane every night! Then after about an hour she comes out and snuggles up to my legs!

They both really missed Snowflake last night! Its the first time they been separated since we brought Heidi and Snowflake home on June 1st! We still miss Sophie but truly believe that her passing brought us our new "Cat Family"!

Ooops, sorry. Should have specified - the / goes inside the brackets, before the I in the IMG at the end of the link.

I have to hit submit to see the picture.... but Snowflake just sounds like a bundle of joy!
So glad she's feeling so well after her spay!

Oh! It's the same picture!

The link - to have the picture appear in the post - should look like this (substitute the brackets for the parentheses):

(IMG)link address(/img)

Where the tags should actually be
at the end.
