Remembering Hope

Thread Starter
Hope, who I know is playing with, loving on, and caring for all our bridge kitties, passed away on March 17th, 2009.

She was found in her apartment on the 19th. She died of a heart attack.

She is dearly missed by so many of us, and those of you new to the site since then, I'm sorry you didn't have the chance to know her. She was a HUGE Kiss fan, it was very cute! She was a sweetheart, and made so many siggies for people on the site. She loved doing design work.

She had four kitties, and absolutely wonderful members of TCS went to great lengths to make sure her kitties were located and all went to good homes.

Hope, you are remembered fondly and with love!

I did not know her that well but I do miss her.

My friend Cathy died on March 18, 2009 I miss her too.

I think of Hope pretty regularly. She was so tallented. And her furbabies were her world! I loved hearing about her crew!

I still remember it as if it was yesterday. I hope we never have to go through that again

Heres's the link for those that's interested, because it opened our eyes with regards to making sure our cats are looked after if we suddenly go

I never had the pleasure of knowing her but from what you all say, she was quite a gal and loved her cats.

RIP dear Hope. It is very obvious you were loved dearly. Give our kitties a big hug for us.

She sounds like quite a lady!

She died before I signed up, so I didn't know her, but I'm sorry she's gone.

If I remember correctly, didn't Hope have "Mrs. Paul Stanley" as part of her avatar?
I like the idea of Hope watching over our RB babies; I'm sure Rosemary (Butzie) is helping her.

Didn't know Hope. How nice of you to remember her today, she must have been a very special person. It is wonderful that TCS pulled together to help her cats. This is such a great place, like a family

If I recall correctly, she had something like "Paul Stanley's muse" under her username.

Did Rosemary (Butzie) pass on, too?

I hope you're happy playing with all the kitties, Hope. RIP.

Yes unfortunately. I don't know that we got much information and I think it was a little bit before we found out. Another terrible shock and a tragic loss for our TCS family.

Oh my God, how sad! I didn't know that! What happened? I knew she was having marital problems, but I didn't know she was sick.

RIP, Butzie.

Oh no! I didn't know about Rosemary, either! My gosh, what happened?

And thank you, Laurie, for reminding us to think of Hope today.

Rosemary took her life; I believe it was in December. I found the thread from January, but I don't know how to include it here.

I sure hope you're at peace now, Rosemary. I'm so sorry that you had so much pain that you saw no way out.

Hope was so kind to me. I was a newbie here and she helped me with the first signature I had. I was so dumb and she was so kind. Hope you have left a legacy behind of many who love you and remember you for being such a kind person. Rest in peace. Give Max and Speedboat a hug for me.

I have heard a lot about Hope since joining TCS and she seemed like an amazing lady, seein her picture made it all seem so real, such a sad loss and so young, so I really, really pray that there is an afterlife and she is safe and well.
Butzie, well this is so sad and I really hope that her animals are all ok, we here on TCS are such great people and we care so much and its fantastic what people do on here for other members, you are all very special people.xxx

Tomorrow she can have a new kitty to keep her company sad as it may be.
Hope I hope you are enjoying all our RB kitties for us.

I always felt a special kinship with Hope. First, well, we shared the same first name (I don't meet many "Hope"s) and I love KISS as well, but she had me beat there! lol. To this day, I can not hear a KISS song and not think of her. I was just starting to get to know her when I logged on one night and saw the "RIP" thread. My heart dropped and my first thought was "NO, it's a mistake". I SO regret not rejoining sooner and getting to know her better. I've seen her posts in so many older threads while researching for this or that problem and it is such a shame that this caring women was taken so soon.

How horribly sad - I wasn't on a site sabbatical at the time. This is horrible to hear!

Hope was a dear, sweet lady, greatly missed. Hard to believe it has been 2 years. I was so relieved when I read through the thread and found out that all her furkids had been found homes. I had no internet for several months, so by the time I found out, everything was done, but it still struck very hard It was also very hard to hear abut Butzie. May you both Rest In Peace.

Is not necesary to meet in real life at the person to miss her....

I meet Hope....& I miss to her too... years ago, when I arrive to TCS my poor english was enrich by the great TCS family help, many members go and come back, she always was loyal to the site, was kind with the new members, and generousity with her art....she was a totally lady in the whole extention of the word.... God decide to call her at his kingdom leave us a deep pain......

As her name is....HOPE, we should to have the HOPE of she´s keeping busy to all kittys that are in the Rainbow...

I have the luck to meet her.........now I miss her...painfully because I´m human, but my HOPE is she´s fine and waiting for us ....................someday....

RIP my friend.......TCS is not the same without you,......

Rigel, that was an absolutely lovely post concerning Hope. Makes me wish I'd known her better.
I'm sure Hope and Rosemary are watching over our RB babies.

I am truly sorry to hear this, I have been away for a few years and certainly remember her. I remember when another TCS member passed away, it certainly leaves a shock.
