I actually remembered today!

If you had to evacuate what 3 LUXURIES would you take with you? This is besides family, kitties, other pets and essentials such as food, water and clothing.

I would take my Bible, cell phone and my laptop including the charger. That way I would be able to keep up with the news and with other family and friends.

My phone, the wii, my makeup case which incluses my nail varnish

that way i can keep in touch with everyone, exercise and still look presentable lol

I would definitely take my purse since my cell, cash and credit cards are in it. Any pictures that I can grab quickly that mean a lot to me. My car keys if I'm still able to drive in any devastation. Any important paper work that I wouldn't want destroyed. My computer if at all possible, lots of stuff saved on there.

#1 - the Bible - its not a "luxery" to me - its essential

#2 - one or two very sharp knives - one for cutting small things like rope, etc. and one with teeth for cutting up larger things

#3 - waterproof sheet (comes in handy for a lot of things including to protect from rain, snow and can even be used to wrap us up like a blanket)

I always have a Bible in my car. Besides that I would take my Paper copies of my genealogy research. I would take my laptop and charger for that.
Hopefully where I go would still have electricity. We actually did that during Hurricane Floyd. At that time, I took Speedboat, Max, and my Dad with us.

I don't carry a purse, but I do carry an attache case with everything in it. I would pick that up as well as all the pictures I could stuff into it. My cell phone and a laptop.

I do have some items (a knife, blanket, shovel, etc.) in my car at all times, so if I could drive, that would help.

3. My bible. It contains a card my grandfather made for me 2 weeks before he died.
