Uptil just now the puppy had been able to get into my room and he chases my poor Pixie up and down the hall so I put the baby gate up so my door can stay open but only Pixie and I can get in and now she can either go to the basement or to my room to get away from Oscar and the kids as both of them drive her crazy and she is laying in my floor like she owns it, who am I kidding she does.
I also took a basket my sister had extra toilet paper in, in the basement and I put one of my folded throws in it and made her a bed not really sure if it is big enough. And now she doesn't have to jump onto my dresser to get to her food since the gate is up it can be in the floor. I do need to get her a placemat so dad doesn't fuss and say that I will ruin the floor by doing that as we have that wood laminant and he will have a fit if he catches her water down but the poor girl seems happier. And besides his puppy is wetting the floor and we know what that will do. Even if it is cleaned up when we find it. I hope I don't forget about the babygated during the night and fall over it.
Sorry that was a bit long but I wanted to share my girls happiness.

It can be hard keeping your kitty happy when there's a new dog in the house. I'm glad Pixie is happier; a happy cat makes for a happy owner.
