Im new to this site and wanted to introduce myself and my two queens Squeeker and Spice! My first Queen is expected to go into labor tonight (according to her vet) and i am very excited! This will be her 3rd and last litter she is 5 yrs old. i may be getting into her pregnancy a little more than i should but i wasnt present for her first two and plan on being very close to this one...( minus me interveining with mother nature) other than the usual expected signs, what* in your own experiances* did ur kitties do when they were close to delivering? Also some unique signs ur kitty showed nearest to the time of birth? Just getting a better insight to my mommy cat thanx!
warmly Ange

Being off food a day or to and alot more milk in my experience.

I had 2 deliver both could feel contractions very easily even hours and hours before.

One who I found pregnant delivered at night one taken pregnant delivered during day-she caught me off guard as always here cat having kittens at night.
My sister found a days away cat and it never stopped eating(not sure what the previous "owner" had fed or how often as not the best owner....) That cat delivered 6 kittens and she thought she was done at 3 or 4 and went to sleep around 330 AM to wake up to a total of 6 in the.
I guess the "good" news is she probably wouldn't need a c section being shes been able to push out 2 litters but I would be careful of her age if she goes to long REALLY pushing and nothings out. someone on here lost a cat recentley to the insides coming out
!

Have an er vet whos open on a notepad just in case you need advice it will save you time.

Vivi almost had her kittens under my blanket, next to me in bed. I noticed she had some discharge, so I got her box ready with some towels. She insisted on staying next to me on the bed, so that is where I set up her box.

My cat (who shares my user ID name) did something really wacky the day before she went into labor: She suddenly got very wild at another female cat and almost went at her; instead, she began to run all over the house at top speed, from one end of my long mobile home to the other, and then up to dash across the tops of the kitchen and dining room cabinets, then down again, then up the wall to tightrope walk the curtain rod in the bedroom! A day later she went into labor and stayed calmly under a little white table in the work-den for 7 hours of steady labor before popping out her 6 kittens every 15 - 20 minutes. The labor was mild, but by the 6th hour of waiting she was looking at me as if to say: "Hey! I thought I was having kittens! What is this?" She fell in love with her babies after she had a 10 hour rest from her long labor.

Jazzmin the Cat, so calm after giving her kittens inside a wild ride!

Jazzy with her little sister, Missy Stitch.

Jazzmin the Cat has only had 8 kittens in her entire life and that is enough for her! The last two were raised by another female. She wants no more.
