I found my 14 month old with a "kitty cookie." The chocolate kind.

She was running around when we were about to leave for church. Mooch has been known to leave a lil "cookie" here and there from time to time. (At least I think it's Mooch....) She had crumbled it and there was a small piece stuck to one cheek; but I'm fairly certain she didn't give it a taste test.

I'm still soooo grossed out and I just can't believe it actually happened. I washed her hands and face with a baby wipe and then with soap and water at least 3 times...plus I brushed her teeth just to be sure. And I got her a new toothbrush today... I could crown Mooch!! I hope we never repeat this incident again!!

Needless to say; we did not make it to church today....

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

My daughter has done MANY awful, disgusting things, but thank goodness THAT was never one of them. How did you keep from upchucking yourself! Oh yeah--"Mommy Super Powers!"

You may want to have her watch you clean the cat box, etc and verbally express the nastiness of it and "no touch" factor. We did that with Bella whenever we saw something gross, and maybe that's what helped.

Hope it was a one-time thing!

Oh my gosh! Ava did that when she was about Tressa's age

One of the cats must have had a "cling on" and it dropped on the living room floor. Ava discovered it first, brought it over to me and said "ewww"

That happened once with my son when he was around two. He took one bite of the "cookie", and thankfully, it was his last.

Yeah, like bugs & boogers and God only knows what else!

I remember one time when I had gotten up in the morning and found my son with red stuff smeared all over his face & hands. I freaked!
I thought he had hurt himself somehow and had blood all over him. Turns out he had gotten into the Kool-Aid and ate it straight from the package.
How he managed to eat THAT I'll never know, cuz it was the sugarless kind.

This was my morning laugh as terrible as it sounds.

I'm sure that kind of "cookie" won't be eaten again!

I remember when I was around 7 years old or so I found some chocolate on the living room floor! I'm a total chocoholic! It was about 6 or 8 squares in a foil wrapper. It was chocolate, so I ate it!

Turns out it was chocolate exlax!!!

I was sick and had horrid cramps and lived in the toilet for 2 days, and my Mom laughed for the entire time

That reminds me of my mom who ate what she thought was chocolate when she was a kid - only it wasn't ex-lax. Turns out it was the unsweetened kind of chocolate.
But that's not as bad as ex-lax!

Haha! That reminds me...this one time my step-sister was babysitting for my friend at our parent's house. My old bedroom had become the spare room and she put my friend's son down in there because it was getting late. A few minutes later she heard something....she found him eating those dye tablets for Easter eggs!! I'm not sure how old he was then; maybe 4ish? He dyed his tongue and hands real good with that one!!

(Oh, and I love that LOL cat!! I will surely think of it the next time I make meatballs...which I do quite often...LOL)

I had a friend in Junior high who ate some before church evening service once. It was expired so she thought it wouldn't work and she was really wanting some chocolate. After service no one could find her for a bit. We figured she was in the ladies room! LOL
