Poor Charleigh, my granddaughter. She's just starting to let go of things and stand on her own, yesterday she did this, but misjudged where she was reaching for to hang onto next. Down she went and cracked her forehead on the corner of a speaker (it's been moved). Though the cut was small, there was blood everywhere because of how bad the scalp bleeds. She was a little trooper though, very little tears. We cleaned her up and put on a Band-aid.

This morning I notice red under the bandage and find out that she's got my allergy to the glue on band-aids. She's now got a cut and a rash. Poor kid.

Ouch! Poor baby! They are so resilient though! A week or 2 ago my 14 month old fell and hit her forehead on a sharp corner of the base molding at the end of the hall. I was right there...there was a white dent even before any blood or tears came. She was over it long before I was!! I made her stay up past her bedtime just to be sure she was ok. My poor baby!! It's a scary time when they are learning to walk!!

Yes, it's scary, but she's doing just fine. She was standing unassisted in the middle of my king size bed today. She'll be taking off any minute and giving us all heart failure on a daily basis soon!

The cut is healing perfectly, she's doing great as far as that goes, but now we all have a NASTY cold. Because she's so young the doctor said she just has to ride it out. She's miserable because she can't breath and her throat is sore so she's not eating well. She's not sleeping well either because it's hard to breathe laying down, so she's taking turns napping on all of us.

I feel for her, I've got all the same symptoms and asthma on top of it. But she's resilient and will get better soon, I can see improvements in her, just feel bad because she's miserable.

Poor baby! The bump is bad enough and now the cold.

I have an allergy to the sticky stuff too. Some times the itch from the sticky stuff is worse than the cut.
