The object is is to take the last word in a song or movie title and use it to name the first word in another title, then use the last word in that title to choose the first word in the next title, and so on and so on. For example:
Dark Side Of the Moon >> Moon River >> (the) River Wild >> Wild Thing, etc., etc.
It can be either a movie or song title, and you don't have to include the word "the" for the first word.
