I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Look at her butt. Are there two dark spots, one to each side of her anus? If so, this is bad. Her anal glads are impacted and this must be treated.
If that isn't the problem, does her butt look red or raw?
How have her stools been lately? Any diarrhea? Are the stools firmer than usual?

She is either in heat or pregnant (per the other thread). Things are bound to be a bit swollen and uncomfortable. If you think it's a problem, contact your vet. Otherwise, all you can do is wait for her to have her kittens or go out of heat (or have her spayed).

Sounds like an itchy butt. Could be worms. I would take her to a vet. An all of a sudden behavior change needs to be checked out.
