Vibes please mom admitted to hospital this afternoon

She called me tonite-from the hospital! I didn't even know she was ill.

Its either walking pneumonia or a bad case of bronchitis. Her oxygen levels her low at admission but back to normal now.

She should be in 2 or 3 days. They were just here this weekend and she was fine.

Worried a bit about dad though as he has some short term memory problems.
But my sis will call him tomorrow to remind him to go to hospital.
I've called a cousin who lives nearby to check on him as well. I'll try to get there when mom gets released.

So some get well vibes would be appreciated.

With bobber's health failing day to day its just one more challenge to deal with.

Hope your mom is feeling better very soon and your dad is able to cope with her absence without issue. Frankly, he has me a bit more worried than she does.

Coughing is no fun...she has my sympathy.

to your mom, dad and to you that you can juggle everything!

Mom has over the years made dad dependent on her which doesn't help in this situation.
But it should be okay.

Oh that's a lot to be juggling! My dad has memory problems, and my mom has asthma and is hospitalized with pneumonia every few years, so I totally sympathize with your worry!

Thanks everyone. I got ahold of one of my cousins who doesn't live too far away from my parents so she can check up on Dad. Though with daylights savings time he has never changed any clocks so that will mess him up. If she is home Sunday though I can drive over and get that corrected.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I hope it isn't something serious.

My MIL did the same to my FIL and when she passed in January, he was in a mess. He didn't know where any of the bills were, where his bank accounts were, how to even pay a bill. My SIL had to step in and help him out.

Continued thanks! She said tonite that they make take the oxygen out of her nose tomorrow. Still not sure if she will be able to go home tomorrow or not.
We will drive over Sunday. Making a big kettle of one type of soup tomorrow and will stop at an area restaurant known for thier chicken soup.

I called Dad and asked him what he had for dinner tonite-did he go out for fish he said he had sardines! yikes.
