This vine is amazing! It completely took over my windmill. You have to run lots of line for it to climb but the work is worth it!

We got it as a potted plant, about 3 feet tall. I am definately going to get another this spring. It probably would have kept growing taller if the windmill was taller. But it grew about 7 feet and I had to keep weaving the vines through other vines. It is just as full all the way to the ground.

I just want to get my hands dirty again!!

How lovely. Unfortunately I am garden challenged - I have the black thumb to end all black thumbs. I wish I could have my garden lovely!

Thanks, but it isn't hard, just plop it in the ground. We had a hot dry summer and it still grew good!

You are better than you think!

Is it a perennial or annual? It is beautiful and I would love to grow one.

It's beautiful!!

I planted some peas in pots on the front porch steps, I want them to grow around the little railings we have. I think something like your vine would probably be nicer, but the peas look pretty too, and are growing pretty fast. And I'll hopefully get something to eat off them too!

We love those vines! Around here, it's an annual, so we have to buy them every spring. We have a "cat" trellis right under our bay window outside and we always plant Black-eyed Susan vines to grow around and through the trellis. The trellis is about four feet high and is shaped like three cats sitting. With the vines growing around it, it's really pretty. I'll take pictures this summer.

We usually buy two orange plants and one yellow plants. DH calls them our lemon and orange plants. We wouldn't be without them in the summer. He keeps them trimmed back to stay around the trellis.

I really need spring! I want to start digging!

Zohdee, thanks for the update on dave's....will check it out.

How beautiful that vine is!! Makes me feel like Spring is really on it's way. We have a gorgeous Climatis with the striking purple flowers that grow on my trellis outside the kitchen window each year. Just lovely

Climatis is so beautiful. I brought my moms over here after she passed away. It still hasn't bloomed wonderfully. But each year I get a couple more.

I never multi answered, so if I screwed up....sorry!
