Question of the Day Wed March 9

Thread Starter
Well, this is delayed as usual I have been doing a lot of overtime lately.

Do you like to eat breakfast for dinner?

Occasionally, I like to eat either a bowl of cereal, hot or cold. But sometimes, I go all out. Eggs, bacon and potatoes. Sometimes I will make a bacon, olive and cheese omelet!

No I don't. I don't really like eggs, cereal or toast. I do like bagels, bacon and sausages though but I don't usually eat them for dinner.

I don't mind. I will eat dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner without any qualms.

Yes, but I try not to because eating dinner for breakfast usually means I get hungry more throughout the rest of the day, and I end up overeating...
But I love pizza or chinese for breakfast

I wouldn't mind it, if there was nothing else to eat.

Yes! Once in a blue moon I will go with Jack or my family to a place like Perkin's or Cracker Barrel that serves breakfast all day and I will order away!

Sure. I'm always in the mood for a nice bowl of corn pops.

Yep. It's all just food, why does it matter what time of the day we eat it?

LOL, I was telling a teenager the other day that the only reason we think there are such things as "breakfast foods" is because of advertising and other societal pressures. That before Mr. Post invented breakfast cereal, most people ate leftover dinner for breakfast. She didn't believe me. And I think she thinks I'm crazy . But it's true!

Yes, I like to go to restaurants that serve "breakfast" all day and order bacon, eggs, and hash browns for lunch or dinner. Yummy!

We do that about once a month. I'll make veggie omelets or something similar for our dinner and we'll have them with some sourdough toast and orange juice.

DH just loves French toast with homemade bread. So sometimes, to surprise him, I make one of my toast recipes that calls for soaking the bread in the egg mixture for several hours. I'll make the French toast casserole in the morning before leaving for work and put it on the bottom shelf of the fridge (where he doesn't really look for anything). And then when I get home, I just have to pop it into the oven for about 45 minutes or so. While it's baking, I'll either make a few slices or bacon or brown a few turkey sausage links. DH has French toast and he's a happy camper.

I am a HUGE fan of eggs, toast, bagels, sausages, bacon, ham, hashbrowns, etc so I game for breakfast at anytime of the day.

Hubby doesn't like breakfast for supper but he works Wednesday nights from 1-10 so he's not home for supper so sometimes me and the kids will have breakfast instead...LOL

I've been known to make myself a nice omelette with ham, havarti, and jalepeno peppers.
