That cat is like clock work. She must have a litter every spring and every october. To bad this time there is no one to get her pregant
How long does heat last? she sounds soooo sad. She keeps looking out the window and crying. Of course big black kitty and the big white cat are trying to find her
As soon as she gets over this cold she is getting fixed. I had to keep moving the appointment because she nursed the babies until they were 11 weeks and then her chest was still puffy and then she got a cold! I would have never guessed when i caught her that she would be inside for this long.

Granet, marble, and nimby are too young to get her pregant right? nimby is 4 monthes, and granet and marble are at the very oldest 5 monthes but more then likly younger.

My cat goes into heat about every two weeks and stays in heat for about 4 or 5 days. We never got her fixed because she's an indoor cat and she seems to be too old she's about 7. Now she's pregnant!

I hope Snow White gets better soon. That cold sounds aweful
As for your other kitties, if they're not going into regular heat then they should be able to get pregnant but I've known some cats who have gotten pregggers at 4 or 5 months

Make sure your window screens are secure, so that nobody tries to get in at her, or that she doesn't try to get out. I'm not sure about whether the oldest of the kittens could get her pregnant, I know it is supposed to be somewhere around 5-7 months that they mature. Can you keep them away from each other just to be certain?

And buy earplugs, LOL. They seem to prefer to yowl from 1 AM to 6 AM IMO.

She is in a no escape room
the windows in there don't open, beleave me we have tried to open them!! Marble and granet aren't showing any interest in her. She just looks out the window and meows and then everyone once in awhile I will hear a very low meow coming from outside. It is hard to keep granet and marble away from her because they really run to her for comfort even though she is not there mom. I catch marble STILL trying to nurse once in awhile.I'm going to call monday and get an appointment for the girls (blizzy, stormy, and snowwhite, i guess maybe bonnie too) and hopefully in three weeks they will all get fixed. I am going to have them check just to make sure snowwhite isn't pregant. She shouldn't be but I want to make sure. i just couldn't do that to her, she is too good of a mom for me to take her babies away.

Hi Anna.. even though your kitty is an indoor cat you should still get them fixed. They are never too old! (especially at 7) You should get her fixed after she has her kittens. The labor and giving birth and being in heat is harder on them than getting fixed. It will save her discomfort and problems in the future and she will live a longer healthier life!

Yes, that's the plan. I just have never really seemed to find a vet around here that was good. We've had other cats and taken them to alot of vets and have never really been satisfied with the work they have done. But I do plan on getting her fixed after the kittens. I'm looking for a good vet on the North Side of Chicago

I agree! And 7 is not really that old for a cat that is well taken care of!

Have you checked your humane society? Ours here do altering for very reasonable. I think it's $35 for a cat. They take good care of them.
