Vibes for my cat E

Can I have some vibes for E? He just layed there at noon when everyone else was eating their lunch. He is always in the middle of things. He did walk into the other room while they ate, but then went back to the chair he was in.

My vets office is having a staff meeting till 4pm. UGH! And I know the dr has to leave at 5 because I spoke with them earlier on another matter.

E is my scardy cat. You can pet him if he isn't expecting it. But no more than that. It is always hard to get him in a carrier, but it's doable! Gonna call at 3:45 and keep trying to get through. Hopefully he can see him before he has to leave.

Here is a pic of him. Trapped him years ago as a feral and he is the sweetest boy. Once at the vets he is always so afraid, he won't move a muscle.

Thanks.

Thanks Cheryl....He is now back in that same window, same kitty bed looking out. He did walk back to the other room and ate a treat. He has had bad teeth, I am hoping that is it.

That pic really doesn't due him justice...he is long and low. Kind of like a stealth cat! With white boots and socks. I wish he would let me love on him, but it is not to be.

Ugh, I hate this feeling of worry creaping over me!

Thanks again friend.

Thank you Stephanie....me too. He is getting old. Probably 11ish.

His name is a long french word that I can't even pronounce or spell. An old friend gave it to him. It means "long cat". It began with an "E", so I just shortened it to that!

People say I give my cats weird names!

Thanks Laurie, He seems better now. As I was opening cans for their dinner I heard his familiar voice calling for food. And he went right to the food and ate.

I am still going to make appointment tomorrow for him. I don't want to let this go and have something festering in his little body.

I will update as soon as I know.

Thanks again for your thoughts guys! It's nice to know you are not alone.

Oh I really hope E will be alright!!! I am glad to hear he wanted to eat tonight. It might just have been a tummy ache today and he might just be fine from this point on, I certainly hope so. You are not alone!! He is a beautiful boy

for you and E!! He is a gorgeous cat!!
From my recent experiences, it is scary when a cat refuses a meal out of nowhere, so I am glad he ate at dinnertime and hope everything continues to go well for him.
As for the weird cat names....we found a cat 2 years ago as a stray, had no plans to keep her but could not find her a suitable home. Eventually just decided to keep her bc she bonded w/ our other cats and was used to us (she had been abused before and was terrified of most other people and animals)...well we could not think of a name once we decided to keep her, like 6 mos after finding her. We had called her Stray the whole time...and ended up keeping her name as Stray. haha! So then this past summer we found a cat in our chicken coop, a tiny baby who was starved and had battle scars from being outside. We brought him in to clean up thinking we could find him a home soon bc he was a baby...the jerk(said w/ love) bonded instantly with Joey and Billy (blind cat....doesnt usually bond easy but did with this one)...well we had him for about 2 weeks before deciding to keep him and since the name "stray" was taken, we had been calling him "baby stray" and shortening it to "baby" so now...we have a big fat fluffy orange cat we call baby. haha! (we tried to name him toby for awhile but he didn't like it and it felt weird, so we stuck with baby)

I'm sorry E isn't feeling good, at least he ate, that's a good sign. I hope all goes well for him at the vet. He's a beautiful cat.

I, too, live in fear of a cat suddenly not eating. (have had many bad experiences there as well)

I hope E is doing okay now!

Thanks everyone for your concerns about E. He seems to have bounced back and is doing fine now.

Every time I put their food down, I count heads to be sure they are all there and no one is opting out of eating. So far ...so good! Knock on wood!
