Mackerel and I lost our fight yesterday morning.

Mackerel and I have been fighting her acute renal failure for about five weeks now, and yesterday she crossed the rainbow bridge.

I miss her so much.

I am saddened to read this thread. I was hoping that Mackerel would turn the corner and get better. She was such a special cat and loved by everyone here. You both fought a good fight.
