Good - My Teyah is becoming a lap cat! She's always been loving, enjoys rubbin's and is a real sweetheart, but she has never been cuddly and hates being held. Well for the past week, she has been enjoying my lap! She'll jump up, get comfy and purr away for a cuddle session. Warms my heart to know that she now views my lap as a great place to be.

Bad - I was eatting my supper when Mom called, so I was talking to her and not really paying attention. I turn around to find LP chowing down on my baked potato! I was not impressed...but it's my own fault I guess. Where I share my morning yogurt, he seems to think I should share my supper as well.

Must have been some pretty yummy toppings on the potato!

The Good - Chumley is actively seeking out "head pets" more than just the mornings now! He's feeling more and more comfortable. He's pretty much right on schedule for it to take about a year for him to be completely "at home."

The Bad - We found a round worm the other day, so all the cats have to be "Profendered." Didn't get it in quite the right place on Lazlo, and he was able to get at it with his back foot... and poor guy was foaming at the mouth a bit.
(The "good" in this one is that it's not toxic, just bitter. *phew* ).

W/ the best cats
The Good - All the gang have stopped abusing my old, blind dog. Every time he accidentally bumped into them, they swiped their claws on his face. Poor little doggie! Now they keep out of his way and sometimes they head butt him! I think they realized he is helpless and deserves their love.

The Bad - There's a female stray in heat so there are new cats in the neighborhood. Even if these strange cats do not come in or near the property, their mating noises can be heard from far away. My neutered boys have started spraying inside the house.

The Good: Calvin was a little unsettled with Hobbes's arrival and had stopped coming to us (in bed) in the morning for his morning cuddle sessions. He's back to his own habit and as soon as he hears the alarm go off, he's in bed with us purring up a storm and rubbing our faces, burying his face on our neck, licking - this makes our day

The Bad: If Hobbes comes to our room then, Calvin chases him away.

The good: All of my kitties seem healthy, happy, and confident. Emory and Delaney getting along better and everyone is tolerating Finnegan's antics. Also, now that I am using the Cat Attract litter, Finn is no longer having "accidents." He is also doing really well on the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dry food and Hill's Z/D. I couldn't be more pleased with the way he is doing -- especially considering we never truly discovered what was causing his allergies.

The bad: Cassidy had a moderate-to-severe allergic reaction this afternoon to the new food I had been feeding. We're thinking it is the lamb that is in the food. Thankfully, I caught the reaction early and she is now doing okay. But, it means finding yet another food. Unfortunately, keeping Cass on the hypoallergenic food long-term is not the best option (and isn't necessary since she does well with other protein sources). But, it's difficult finding a quality food that suits the needs of my cats as well as my budget. But, it is what it is. I'm just thankful she is okay.

The Good - Who needs a vacuum or broom in the kitchen with a Billy in it?

The Bad - Chumley was grooming Billy and licked some of the Profender on his neck and was drooling a bit this afternoon.
