Morning folks!

I came home sick from work yesterday at lunch. I was totally unfunctioning, doing things wrong etc..I have some sort of head cold. I feel better today though, apart from the throat stuff.

So off to work in a bit and I think DH and I will be going to yoga tonight.

I am also on a strict study schedule, and need to study one hour a night until my exam. Ugh. DH is helping me be effective.

You all have a good one today!

Morning!!!

It's a lovely sunny day here but still a bit chilly. I've put some washing on the line for the first time this year and it's blowing lovely in the slight wind we have

Out for tea and a chat with a couple of the girls tonight around 5. The kids will be wondering what's going on when i go out so early

Morning!

The sun is shining today, but it's cooler than yesterday. We got rid of a lot of snow yesterday though!

I ordered a new laptop yesterday!! WOOHOO! I got a really great deal too, Futureshop was having a one day sale, so I saved $200 and it's a super powerful laptop. Can't wait to get it!

I also got some great news yesterday that one of my former fosters, Button, was adopted! None of us thought she would ever be adoptable, as she was quite feral and they were going to try to release her into a colony in the Spring, but a teacher fell in love with her and said it didn't matter to her how she is, that she'd take all the time in the world to tame her!

Morning!

Yay Buttons! That teacher has a heart of gold!!!

After receiving about 15 inches of snow yesterday (that none of the weatherweenies seemed to know was coming....they kept talking about rain and flooding concerns), we seem to be all dug out again. Our snow plow guy plowed our driveway (no way could we shovel 15 inches of snow....not in our driveway). And I was able to bring Clarence into work this morning.

The good news is that we're above freezing, so hopefully!!! it should melt fairly soon anyway. And that had better be it for the winter! I'm so tired of this I could spit!

And more good news! Daylight Savings Time starts on Sunday morning!
More time to get things done outside! Spring is on its way! (someday)

Enjoy!

I think the sun is trying to come out, PLEASE!!! We are expecting very heavy rains later today,
and I am worried about flooding because the ground is still frozen and has some ice in spots still. I will have to keep watch on the sump pump. And of course, DH is out-of-town. The two times we flooded before, he was out-of-town too......

It's Tuesday morning, so that means I get to go and ride Jack!!!!
. Then from the barn, I have some dogs to walk mid-day. Will be a busy day..

Have a good one ALL

Morning all!

We got a dusting of snow last night but temps are to be in the lower 30's. But a major storm coming in tonite. Snow, sleet, freezing rain all in one day-yuck!

Bought a couple new pairs of shoes last night. Being on my feet for more than 6 hours at a time is making them achy. Tossed one pair away too maybe another as well. Bought a new pair of Asics and splurged on a pair of Sanitas. Reviews on that last kind are good for people being on their feet all day. A pair of gel insoles for another pair of shoes. We will see.

So going to gym after work instead of before as I don't feel like luging all my self to clean up before work.

Not much else exciting except a huge pile of dishes to wash yet.......

Morning... well, last night was WINDY!! It was scaring me, and the kitties too I think. They climbed on me on the reclining sofa and I couldn't bear to move them when I wanted to go to bed, so we all slept there til around 1:30AM. By then the wind died down a bit. This morning there were bits of roof all over the backyard (we have an OLD wood shake roof that we want/need to replace soon), a potted plant was blown over and the door mat was off the porch.

Anyway, that was yesterday. Today is sunny as usual, not windy anymore, and about 60 going up to 70. Nice! I'll be doing more homework, but not too much I guess because my test was moved from tomorrow to Monday. I'm mad about that because I have a busy weekend with friends over from England and no time to study then! I wanted it over with! Oh well. I am going to do my hair today, soon really.. maybe go do my site inspection too. I'll put off cleaning til Thursday or Friday.

Well have a good day everyone...
