is the injection part something new? Like injecting anti biotics once that will last 2 weeks? Years ago we had to pill our cats daily if they needed to be on anti boitics now all they need is a shot? Wow does anyone know a lot about this new stuff?

Do these shots work for a total of 2 weeks in the cats system killing any injfections or bacteria just like taking daily anti boitics will?

You must be talking about Convenia... Yep, Convenia will work for 2 weeks - 1 shot... It is used for skin infections and abscesses though (and I know it is very good for mouth/stomatitis infection, substituting clindamicyn)... If it is used for UTI, is is used off label. Do some research and see what you find as far as feedback for that.
