Canned switch

Well now the recycling guys may kill me but this is fun...I open one big can per cat thats to eat(10 cats 10 cans 30 cats 30 cans still working out who needs what but rather have extra then to little ) and on weekend just leave the dry cause husband at this point may not be as thrilled as I am lmao.

All are loving it except one oddball trixie-last time she had wet was when I trapped her cause she got out of hous, and everything is a setup to her lmao. but know she eats the wet cause maintaining weight

Now can I get a pallet of friskies delivered...

Just for curiosity's sake, how many cats do you have? It almost looks like you have 40? Are you supporting a feral colony or are they all indoor? That's a huge number of kitties!

My, that's fun! I once worked out (after running out of dry food in a snowstorm!) that my 20 would need about 9 large (13.2-oz) cans a day. I know the feeding instructions say more but that's what they ate. It was 4 days before I could go anywhere and the amount stayed pretty consistent. So you probably won't need to feed one can per cat, thankfully. You'll figure out the proper amount pretty quickly .

Better leave a nice tip for the recycling guy. . . .

32 in the house, 2 regular ex feral outsiders-both fixed now(who are happy staying out even in the major snow)

I have them all in the house(5 bedrooms and a sunroom) but kittens are put away with one mom(2 litters-I got a preg cat off cl and sister found one. they are about 2 weeks apart-mine had 3 hers 6...sigh) when husband comes home cause they are still way to energetic(climbed the shower curtain during a shower)

I figure better to overfeed a few time then underfeed and start cat fights Going to go down one can till theres less then a can of left overs. I have a big stock pile of science diet dry I am debating what to do with. do want to keep a few bags on hand for days husband may need to feed(sometimes i get real bad headaches and will crawl because of dizziness-dr ruled out anything serious and migranes run in family:S

So far they are going through SO MUCH less water

Yep, you must go through TONS of canned food. Maybe the recycling guy thinks you are eating canned cat food for dinner too . Good job in caring for all of your furbabies

Wow, you do have your hands full! A house full of furry love.

Dump the science diet kibble. Better yet, put it down the garbage disposal so other animals are not tempted by it's enticing aroma.

As to your last line, it's amazing how their behaviors change when they get what they need from their food, eh?

Going to put the food to good use-starting up a little project as obviously I have enough cats
And I have more then a bag or 10 left over(ok more like 30 or so BIG bags)
Roaming the pets section for free kittens and offer to spay mom(S) and the kittens pre adoption(alot are being put up but still available as markets flooded. Alot of ppl qualify for some CHEAP options and if all they had to do was pay the cheap fee and cat got picked up and done think more would go for it...some of the places that are low cost youd have to be flex hours at job or not work to make the pick up times.

So going to need to iron out a few kinks as we go but one female spayed is that much better then NOT!!! and a bonus bag of food lmao...

Cats litter boxes smell...better I had a cat who had a very ammonia pee and it stopped-that shocked me. Didn't expect that.

Also mixing fancy feast in as a topper cause that had been the factor of do we eat this for a few of the cats. Adding that till it runs out(oh I think we got a while still-bulk buyed fancy feast too).

Working to get them to eat faster cause still in the mindset of I have it for a while but not with summer coming on us so been making them hurry a bit sounds mean mommy ish huh lol

First night husbands like have you lost your mind? NOTE only feed when hes out. or looking to have house to self?

Or that I have way more then the ones I do. I dont have the heart to feed the outside cats dry now(why cause they are not friendly they deserve less then ideal-they probably had something happen/got dumped)
So I am really now feed my 30 in house(ones eats only wellness due to diabetes) one eats W/d cause hes...ugh...larger then the vet(or anyone with a back not in bodybuilder shape) would like.
The 4 regular outsiders(2 done 2 to do but both boys one just started showing up regularyly and one started coming about.the.time.of.the.wet.food.switch. lol guess it smelled my house )
