The weather has been so cold and/or snowy that I've got major cabin-fever! The worse that I can ever remember having during winter!

I told a friend of mine this past week that I need to get out! She's always up to doing something: She's a very social person.

First we went bra shopping for me. I can't stand shopping for clothing and the only time I ever go is when she comes with me. I stand in the dressing room and she brings me things to try on. We went to 2 different stores and I found 3 bras.

Then we went to a buffet restaurant, where she bought me dinner for my birthday and she gave me a lovely card. We ate way too much!

I surprised her during dinner by suggesting that we take in a movie. After she checked the internet for movies in the area of the city we were in, we settled on "I am number 4".

The movie wasn't all that great and the ending was quite dumb and left the movie feeling like it was totally unfinished, like they had forgotten to film the ending.

But all-in-all it was a good day! It was nice to get out for a change. Usually on Saturday I'm going grocery shopping, doing laundry and cleaning.

We're going out in 2 weeks again!

Good for you!! I'm normally a home-body; but it's that time of year when even I need to get out and breath the fresh air!! It's especially great becaue it wears my child out! LOL

I'm a home body too and I usually love to stay at home by myself. But OMG! I can't believe how stir crazy I've been feeling: The only word that comes to mind is "Trapped!" There just doesn't seem to be any end in sight for this crappy weather we are having. It's either bitterly cold, or snowing! There is nothing in between this year. I don't tolerate the cold well at all. And the snow makes it difficult for me to get around.

I so can't wait for the spring melt and the warmer weather!

Good for you for getting out and about, since it is a "heat wave". Been a long, brutal winter and for me, out is generally to move snow so I can do chores or get out for groceries. Have been to the city for that job a whopping 4 times since before Christmas.

I'm glad you had a nice day, I get cabin fever a lot as I'm normally stuck in the house apart from the school runs and I love it when we go out, try and make it a regular thing.xx

That must have a been a fun day! I thought that movie "I am Number Four" looked a little iffy. Glad you said it wasn't too good, I will pass on it. I can't wait for the nice weather to get out and walk my dogs and bike ride. I, too, like staying home when it is so cold out, but I have big time cabin fever. We just made plans to go to Seattle to see my sister in April. So I am looking forward to that. Although, I hate leaving my cats, it is very hard because I worry about them. So I really don't like to go away from home.....

I need to go and hike. We have flooding now so that is not an option.

Spring can't get here fast enough. So many great things to do. I belong to our local park district so it will be so much fun for me and the kids.

I'm glad you went out and enjoyed yourself, we all need that. I used to be a homebody too until I met Russell. He gets me off my butt and out the door and we do things together which is always fun when you share the experience. I still like my alone time, I will always cherish that and being only with Autumn. So right now I have the best of both worlds and I don't take it for granted.
